A barber's was set alight in South Norwood in the early hours of this morning (Monday).

Police are investigating the possibility the fire was started maliciously.

The blaze at Cutter, in Portland Road, caused only minor damage but is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Woodside fire station were called out at around 2am and they quickly extinguished the flames.

Nobody was hurt in the fire.
