Staff and pupils take to the track to raise funds for children's charity
PUPILS huffed, puffed and ran as far as their legs would carry them for charity last Friday when Cumnor House School, in Pampisford Road, South Croydon, held its annual fundraiser in aid of The Garwood Foundation.
During the day of the activities the whole school community, from the head to the youngest nursery pupil, was sponsored to complete as many laps as they could of a mile-long circuit.

Pupils then released hundreds of balloons into the sky.
The school's charities coordinator Mark Totty said: "The boys had worked long and hard to gain sponsorship for the event, as well as donning fancy dress costumes to add to the enjoyment of the occasion.
"After the run more than 400 balloons were launched and the boys watched them as they floated off into the sky to unknown destinations.
"We will be plotting the balloons over the coming weeks by a tag with our contact details being tied to the balloons.
"Hopefully when people discover them they will send the tag back saying where they found it."
The Garwood Foundation provides care and other services for adults and children with cerebral palsy and related disabilities.
The school hopes to have raised more than £6,500.
