Irish Dance Spectacular Celtic Journey is travelling the world in dance with the help of some local performers.

Children from schools across Croydon who auditioned to take part will be starring alongside professional performers.

The show starts with an Irish dance display and then takes in dancing styles from around the world including Spanish, Latin American, Russian, Scottish and African, as well as some ballet and American jazz.

Performances at 7.30pm, Thursday and Saturday matinees at 2.30pm.

Gordon Hendricks and Red Alert

Secombe Theatre, Sutton

Saturday, April 11

Top Elvis impersonator Gordon Hendricks comes to Sutton this week with his band Red Alert.

He won the 2005 Stars in Their Eyes Grand Final as The King and has built a reputation as one of the world's best tribute acts since.

Geoff Morrow, who wrote five songs for Elvis, has signed Gordon to his own label.

One of the five songs was never recorded by Elvis because he died before he got the chance to do it, and Geoff has given this song to Gordon.

Come and see the uncanny resemblance at the Secombe Theatre.

Crispian Steele-Perkins and Leslie Pearson

Ashcroft Theatre, Croydon

Crispian Steele-Perkins is a collector and restorer of old trumpets.

When he rebuilt a 1930 cornet made in New York it drew him towards the music of Gershwin, which forms the main part of this lunchtime concert.

Cirque de Glace

An exciting combination of ice dance and cirque is brought to life by The Russian Ice Stars.

Telling the story of the earth's creation with spectacular moves on ice, this is a thrilling show.

It moves from the beginning of the planet to man's evolution and development of technology with dazzling sets and effects.

Performances at 7.30pm, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2.30pm.

Bugsy Malone

The Ravensbourne Light Operatic Society perform fun favourite Bugsy Malone.

It's the 1920s and gangsters rule the town, with Fat Sam and Dandy Dan locked in a turf war.

Then baby-faced Bugsy Malone arrives on the scene with a charm that makes him an instant hit with the girls.

He's got his eye on showgirl Blousey Brown, but unfortunately Fat Sam's girlfriend Tallulah has her eye on him.

With splurge guns and custard pies as weapons, this is fun entertainment for all the family.

HMS Pinafore

New Wimbledon Theatre

One of Gilbert and Sullivan's best-loved musicals comes to Wimbledon this week.

HMS Pinafore is a witty show about the English class system and love between the social classes.

With foot-tapping tunes and plenty of laughs, all ages can climb aboard for fun entertainment with HMS Pinafore which stars John Savident.

Performances at 7.45pm, Thursday and Saturday matinees at 2.30pm.

Kids are kept busy at the Clocktower this Easter holidays with a host of theatre shows especially for them.

The Barber of Savile Row
