Traffic halted as bus crashes in West Croydon

ACCIDENT: The number 60 bus crashed into the central reservation
Traffic ground to a halt in this morning after a number 60 bus crashed in West Croydon.
The vehicle collided with the central reservation at the bus station on Station Road at 9.05am.

Police closed off the road as the bus was winched free following the incident during which no one was hurt.
The road was eventually reopened at 10.17am.
A spokesman for Croydon Police said: "A PCSO was in the vacinity of the station and called in the crash.
"The road was closed for a short period of time but no injuries were sustained."
