TIME is running out for hundreds of students to apply for financial support ahead of the autumn term.

Croydon Council has issued a stark warning to the 60 per cent of students in higher education who have yet to reapply for funds for 2010/11.

A spokesman said: "As the published deadline has already passed it is absolutely vital that anyone gets their application in without delay."
