T HE brilliant and funny Nick Miller is back tonight with a star-studded show, destined to delight with its fun, frolics and sheer talent.
Thrilled to be back for the third year, Nick's guest list line-up is a simply amazing launch to 2012 and includes vocalist Becky CJ whom Nick raves about. He said: "I'm really thrilled to be presenting another amazing young singer-songwriter who happens to be extremely gifted at both. I kid you not, her voice gives me goose bumps."
He will also introduce George Egg wildly brandishing the world's second-largest briefcase containing a battery of ridiculous props.
Watch him bound onto the stage to perform one of the most original, interesting, innovative, and sweetly whimsical comedy performances you are ever likely to see.
He has been hailed as 'a Tommy Cooper for the twenty first century' and through tears of laughter you'll see why.
A big favourite with the Sacrebleu! audience is Elliot Mason, the curly haired bloke with the guitar and the unforgettable comic lyrics. Also appearing after expelling herself from The Royal Ballet School, pint-sized comedy powerhouse Abigail Collins has become one of the most original performers on the London Cabaret circuit. Skillful, sexy and very silly. The physique of an athlete and the mouth of Joan Rivers!
Drawing in the crowd is American jazz singer, recording artist and Queen of the Vintage Vocals Kai Hoffman, who has been resident at world-famous Ronnie Scott's since 2008 with her fabulous swing and jump jive band, Kai's Cats. There she hosts their monthly club night, Kai's 'Live & Let Jive.' She has developed a truly authentic vocal style, reminiscent of the greatest jazz singers of the 20th Century.
Just a dip into the music and comedy organised by Nick Miller for tonight's show.
Thanks to him Sacrebleu! continues to grow (with a new Kent venue to be added in July) on the basis of his vision that the format of stand up comedy shows has become tired and variety is "not just about burlesque" (although he does like to throw a little of that into the mix of his own events).
Despite the fact that bigger names are more regularly appearing at Sacrebleu!, Nick likes to give a platform to new acts in whom he has faith so do look out for Becky CJ tonight.
