PALACE boss Neil Warnock is weighing up a move to send Sean Scannell out on loan.

The young striker has been forced to settle for a place on the bench for much of the season and the manager believes he would benefit from more game time.

However, as it stands Warnock is worried that should he agree to let Scannell, who is currently away with the Republic of Ireland U21 squad, go out on loan he will be left short of available strikers.

"It's something that I have been thinking about," admitted Warnock. "I would definitely consider it if we had more options.

"But at the moment I'm not sure that I can let him go. I'm worried that if we do, we'll need him and have to call him back."

The move might become more likely if Calvin Andrew, who is fit again after a long lay-off, can nail down a first team spot.

“You guys are confusing me with Luis, Louis, X-Factor and the rest of it, if any of you guys are real palace fans, be assured that your club have just nicked the signature of a future superstar with the X-Factor for sure, his name is Louis Walsh (no, really!!), Palace have nicked him for their Academy under the noses of at least three Premiership teams and three Championship teams (that i know for sure), this kid has that something special and will be a massive name in football in the future, remember where you heard it first!!!”

“Lee,at 23.52 last night you said Warnock didn't play Warnock.Whose loopy.
And no I didn't make an 'Incorrect' comment about Warnock and Bostock.Rooney at 16 isn't the same as a 15 year old that hasn't signed his 1st contract and no I'm NOT moving any 'Goal Posts' your the one who does that.”
