She beat off the likes of singers Myleene Klass and Victoria Beckham, as well as actresses Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Kathryn Crawford, of www.TheBabyWebsite.com, said: "One of the key factors which makes Katie so well respected amongst mums is the fact that her family isn't 'perfect'.
"She copes admirably with her disabled son Junior and gives hope to many other families who have to cope with illness or disabilities.
"And whilst she is a savvy business woman, she rarely travels without her children and has the support of a good family network."
The study also revealed 55 per cent of mums said they admired celebrities who didn't rely on nannies to bring up their children.
And 24 per cent liked stars who took their children with them wherever they went.

“Well done for cashing in on your kids, home, muppet husband and decency. It used to be a case of if you don't like it don't watch it, but there is no escape from this new breed of vile talentless tarts who expect Mother Teresas status when they are clearly complete media w****s. Klaas, Goody, Mills and Madonna also spring to mind. Why don't we celebrate and award real mothers who sacrifice career and identity to give their children a good start. My sister-in-law cares for her disabled and difficult son at the expense of her career and she doesn't have millions, where's her award. I worry that we choose to celebrate people that would sell their own used underwear for fame and fortune god knows they have already sold their dignity (videos and photos are available). The people who report on these muppets need better things to do.”

“And the girl is constantly in the paper "using" her disabled son for her own gain. There are other celebrities out there that down "use" their child like she does. So no I won't give her a break.”

“Oh for gods sake give the girl a break, yes she is famous and goes on telly etc, but thats her job, we all have one, she is a good mother, has 3 kids she loves, copes with a disabled child, does loads for charity, can one comment not be a moan about her unless you are jealous or something. Well done Katie!”

“Lets face it, the amount of time she spends with her disabled son is a lot less than most non celebrity mums with disabled children. She has access to security minders, a nanny and loads of other people who do stuff for her. Hardly much of an achievement really in terms of being a mother. In terms of being a celebrity, yeah maybe she has got some cause for reward there, after all she has managed to keep herself in the public eye with no real entertainment talent hasn't she?”

“Wonders how much Katie's paid the advertiser for giving her such a fantastic write up. "Copes with her disabled son", or "never travels without the kids". Mmmmm wonders where they were when ITV showed her & her husband renewing their vows in Africa ON THEIR OWN WITH THE KIDS BACK IN LONDON.”
