A WOMAN has pleaded guilty to using threatening or insulting words in West Croydon.

Margaret Elvin, of Leighton Street, West Croydon, appeared at Croydon Magistrates' Court on August 23.

The 43-year-old admitted the offence, which took place in London Road on June 4.

She was sentenced to a 12-month community order, told to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £85 costs.
