Woman rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after fall from window

A YOUNG woman has been rushed to hospital fighting for her life after she fell from a second floor balcony.
Police and ambulance rushed to the scene in Downcourt Road, Purley, after reports of the horrendous fall this morning (Thursday).
The woman, who is described as being in her twenties, was rushed to hospital by air ambulance to be treated for serious head injuries.
A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We were called at just before 10.15am to reports of a fall from height.
"We sent a single responder in a car, an ambulance crew, an air ambulance and a duty officer.
"Our staff treated a woman reported to be in her 20s.
"She was taken by air to the Royal London Hospital with a serious head injury."
A Croydon Police spokesman confirmed they were called at 10.07am to reports of a woman who had fallen from a third floor window.
He added: "The woman believed to be in her 20s is thought to have life-threatening injuries."

“Just so everyone is clear.. I fell from the balcony and not the window!! which would explain where i landed also I was fitting due to the fall not "kicking"!! You really filmed it???”

“I live exactly oppersite the flats where the woman "fell", unless the woman climbed out of the window and pushed herself away from the building, there is no way she would of landed where she did.
she landed under the balcony, and she was kicking the paramedics, she was obviously in pain, but she did have to be restrained.
i have a video of when the air ambulance arrived and you can see where she landed and was treated and th distance of the window it doesnt make sence”
