Woman threatening to jump from Centrale in Croydon taken to safety

A WOMAN who was threatening to jump from the roof of Centrale shopping centre in Croydon has been taken to safety.

Emergency services were called to the centre's car park at about 11.50am.

Tamworth Road was closed to traffics and London Ambulance Service has paramedics standing by.

It is understood the woman has now been taken to safety by police officers and is receiving treatment from the ambulance crew.
