Fletcher's Forest stint cut short

Carl Fletcher has returned to Crystal Palace after his six-week loan spell at Championship strugglers Nottingham Forest was cut short due to injury.

The Wales international has managed just four starts for Colin Calderwood's side due to a niggling back injury.

Fletcher's loan spell was due to come to an end after tomorrow's (Tuesday) bottom of the table clash against Doncaster Rovers - but with no chance of the midfielder being fit the former West Ham man has returned to south London.
