The Advertiser exclusively revealed last week that Fonte had agreed personal terms with the club and that Palace were close to completing the formalities to bring the Portuguese defender to Selhurst Park from Benfica after a successful loan spell at SE25 last season.
Fonte has put pen to paper on a three year deal.
