Model Danielle Lloyd pulls out of opening Upper Norwood construction centre

Model and former Celebrity Big Brother contestant Danielle Lloyd pulled out at the last minute of a chance to demonstrate her skills as a bricklayer today (Thursday).

She was due to open a new bricklaying annex at Barnados Windermere Construction Centre, in Upper Norwood, at 11am,

But she contacted the organisers early yesterday morning to say she could not make it.

A spokesman for Barnados said Miss Lloyd told them she was leaving to make a TV programme in Argentina today (Friday) and needed to have last minute inoculations and meet with TV executives.

He added: "She has promised she will come and visit the centre when she returns from Argentina."
