£2 all day parking at shopping centres
SHOPPERS joining in the fun of Croydon's Big Get Together this summer will get an added bonus – parking for just £2 all day at two of the town's main shopping centres.
Both the Whitgift and Centrale Shopping Centres have united with Croydon BID, the company which represents and is funded by the town centre's businesses, to ensure its June Big Get Together is fun for all the family.
They are offering the £2 parking deal at their car parks throughout the four days of the event, which runs from June 2-5.
The antics of acrobats, musicians, clowns, stiltwalkers and dancers will thrill shoppers and visitors alike as they perform across various town centre sites.

In addition, Grants is bringing Angelina Ballerina to town, the Whitgift is hosting a major Style Academy with free demos and giveaways, and there will be fitness, fashion and shopping events at Centrale Shopping Centre.
Ros Morgan, BID chief executive, said: "There really is something for everyone. We've got characters from Alice in Wonderland through to stiltwalking aliens performing throughout the four days.
She added "I would defy anyone to come into Croydon during the Big Get Together and not enjoy themselves over the four days."
