...Or so UrbanDictionary.com says. Well, I definitely have a shopping obsession, if nothing else! The term 'fashionista' used to be a derogatory term for shallow people who were interested only in beauty, aesthetics and the latest trends, however the rise of shows such as 'Sex And The City' has modernised the term into a powerful and positive image. But despite the title of this blog, let's get one thing straight-- I'm not a fashion expert. I like what I like, and I know what I know. I like high street stores just as much as the next girl, but I lust after Alexander McQueen and Chloe, too!

So, who am I then? Well, I'm Aimee Marie, a twenty-something self-confessed creative junkie, photographer & journalist, impulse-buyer & beauty fiend, with a penchant for bright & vivid colour, glitter & sequins, long summer days, dressing up, face-paints & baking. When I'm not working in retail, I'm busy doing freelance projects, editing photos, and writing and researching new articles.

For today, I just wanted to introduce myself, but in future, this blog is going to be an eclectic mix of all my loves: fashion, beauty, lifestyle, photography and creativity in the Croydon area!
