Sanderstead teen's business vision wins her hot air balloon trip

Thursday, August 07, 2008, 07:00

A teenage girl has won a trip in a hot air balloon by coming up with a winning business idea.

Faye Booth, 15, of Mitchley Hill, Sanderstead has been announced as the winner of a business ideas contest run by Croydon Enterprise at recent Croydon summer festival.

Staff from Croydon Enterprise roamed Lloyd Park during the festival asking visitors whether they had an idea or even a hobby which could potentially turned into a business or a summer youth activity.

Faye's winning idea centred on her vision to offer young people a venue where they could experiment with their ideas for hair styles.

THE SKY'S THE LIMIT: Faye Booth receives her prize - a hot air balloon trip - from Annie McLean from Croydon Enterprise.
