The action-packed extravaganza at the Shirley Inn, in Wickham Road, runs from Friday until Sunday.
Entertainment includes a 24-hour endurance darts competition, a 10-mile sponsored bike ride and a “human horse race”.
Dianne King, pub manager, experienced the excellent work of the hospice first hand when her husband and more recently her 22-year-old barman died of cancer.
She said: “The hospice does not charge for their excellent services and relies heavily on donations to keep going.”
